Skull Bead Necklace

Cute little skull faces on a very fine chain, we fell in love with the skull design and motif from the days of studying jewellery making in Mexico where Indigenous Mexican art celebrates the skeleton and uses it as a regular motif. The use of skull as a motif started in ancient aztec time, and the worship of death involved worship of life, while the skull – symbol of death – was a promise to resurrection. Please choose from silver or S.M.O ( single mine origin ) gold. All of our pieces are made from recycled and ethically sourced silver within the UK. These skulls measure approximately 8mm. Please note, each of our pieces are carefully hand crafted, therefore this means every one is a bit different, and you may find your’s may vary slightly to the product picture on our website.
